目前我国甜菜生产中突出的问题是甜菜含糖低。三十年来,在我国甜菜生产中,糖分波动颇大。黑龙江省是全国甜菜重点产区,近年来,甜菜含糖也明显下降。1949～1955年甜菜含糖波动幅度为13.5％～16.3％,高低相差2.8度,为低糖期;1956～1961年波动幅度16.2％～18.3％,高低差2.1度;1964～1967年含糖为17.0％～17.9％,高低相差0.9度;1980年—1981年含糖为13.92％～14.66％,高低相差0.74度。河西走廊是甘肃省甜菜种植的主要基地。武威黄羊镇糖厂自1966年投产的16年间含糖在16％以上有十二年,16％以下就有四年,含糖下降了5.05度。宁夏银川糖厂自1970年投产以来,
At present, the outstanding problem in the production of sugar beet is the low sugar content in sugar beet.
