某种意义上讲,国内旅游景点的英语翻译就是向外国游客介绍中国文化。存在于中国文化和西方文化之间的差异使得我们在翻译国内旅游景点的过程中,必须考虑其所蕴含的文化内涵因素。基于“以中国文化为取向,以读者接受能力为重点”的翻译原则,在辽宁旅游景点翻译的过程中,如果我们能够恰当地综合运用翻译策略,不但可以让旅游景点翻译充分发挥其吸引外国游客的目的,而且还可以更好地传播中国文化。
