六十年前结束的日本侵华战争,在日本军人口里还有一个名称:“大东亚圣战”。所谓“圣战”,就是属神的战争,宗教战争。这就是说,日本军人认为他们是在为神而战。这位神是谁?就是日本的天皇。在明治维新的过程中,日本也开始整顿传统的、带有原始宗教性质的神社神道,建立以宫廷祭祀为基础的国家神道。其主要措施,就是宣布天下所有的神社,都归国家的神祗官管辖,并且“祭政一致”,即对神的祭祀和国家政治一体。
