说起中国的运载火箭,我们首先想到的都是液体动力的长征系列运载火箭家族。而当今世界,由于固体运载火箭的方便机动性,正日益受到各航天国家的青睐。随着中国航天技术和需求的发展,我国固体运载火箭也登上舞台。快舟一号、长征十—号等固体运载火箭先后发射成功,不过中国固体火箭的探路者其实是开拓者一号火箭,只不过它尚未形成发射能力便淡出江湖。如今开拓者一号的后代——开拓二号现身。2017年3月3日7时53分,中国航天科工集团公司的开拓二号运载火箭成功把天鲲—号新技术试验卫星送入太空。
