随着21世纪的到来,人们的文化需求和价值取向越来越朝着多元化的趋势发展,在重视物质享受的同时也越来越重视精神的充实。面对如此的社会背景,整个博物馆界都已意识到“:酒香不怕巷子深”的老思想已经不能适应社会经济高度发展的需要,认为适时的将视觉识别系统导入博物馆行业,是博物馆长远发展的一条必经之路。博物馆的视觉形象设计不仅体现了博物馆的精神文化,同时也一定程度上发掘了专题博物馆所代表的文化内涵。不同专题的博物馆体现了不同的历史文化、人文生活,同时博物馆视觉形象的塑造既有章可循,又有创新的样式开发。
