Many people’s understanding of Western food are starting from the old Mo. Lao Mo, the nickname of Beijing Moscow restaurant, was built in 1954 as part of the Beijing Exhibition Center Complex and was officially opened on October 2 of the same year. It was the first Western restaurant in Beijing after the founding of new China. As a national premium Russian restaurant, the dishes here are all Russian palace food, with a special meal ticket to come in for dinner, and even the gatekeepers are transferred from the military unit to defend the staff. At the beginning of the opening, fine cuisine, elegant environment, the special characteristics of the main dining staff - Soviet experts, politicians and returned intellectuals, to make dining here become the dream and glory of ordinary people. Even after the ups and downs of Sino-Soviet relations, the restaurant in Moscow has always been a symbol of the friendship between peoples of the two countries and has been preserved in the memory of generations of both China and Russia.
