Throughout this essay, the author will relate the poem to Poe’s personal experience. To begin with, the author will discuss the idealized beauty of the lady in the poem. Then, the author will move on to her comforting effect on the poet. Finally, the author will draw an conclusion that Poe finds his spiritual harbor under the guide of the lady in his life.
