Alderson教授的《诊断外语水平:学习与评估的接口》一书第一次全面系统地对诊断性考试进行了理论探讨和实证研究。本文从多方面简要评介了该书,认为其贡献主要体现在三方面:(1)首次系统提出诊断性考试的假设性特征;(2)以DIALANG为实例探讨了诊断性考试的开发和研究;(3)展望了诊断性考试研究的发展趋势。
For the first time, Professor Alderson’s “Diagnostic Foreign Language Proficiency: An Interface to Learning and Assessment,” conducted a theoretical and empirical study of diagnostic tests in a comprehensive and systematic manner. This paper briefly reviews the book in many aspects and considers its contributions mainly in three aspects: (1) the hypothetical characteristics of diagnostic tests are put forward systematically for the first time; (2) DIALANG is taken as an example to explore the development and research of diagnostic tests; (3) Looking forward to the development trend of diagnostic test research.
