国立东方艺术博物馆创建于1918年,目前其藏品近十五万件,是东方不同国家艺术的代表。其中囊括了中国从远古到二十世纪中叶不同历史时期的艺术藏品近两万件。国立东方艺术博物馆有中国民间年画九百多张,其藏品数量是俄罗斯最多的博物馆之一,仅次于国立艾尔米塔什博物馆。藏品中的绝大多数是十九世纪末和二十世纪初的作品。大约有二百多张是 The National Museum of Oriental Art was founded in 1918 and currently boasts nearly 150,000 pieces of collections. It represents the arts of different countries in the East. It includes nearly 20,000 art collections from ancient times to different historical periods in China from the middle of the 20th century. The National Museum of Oriental Art has more than 900 Chinese New Year pictures. The number of collections is one of the largest in Russia, second only to the National Museum of Hermitage. The vast majority of the collections are works of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. There are about 200 pieces
