In the jungle of the Changbai Mountains in the northeast, there are countless unknown secrets. Kuandian County is located along the Yalu River, the easternmost point of Liaoning Province. It is located at the junction of Liaoning Province, Jilin Province and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. We wander through the vast forest here looking for a primitive “Green River” Village. When almost all the passers-by shook their heads, only one old man pointed us to the road. The two small towns of Ji’an and Huanren, which are adjacent to the Green River, are silently silent among the mountains and hide the extremely important historical sites of Koguryo, a mysterious ethnic government in the north.
