徐訏是我国新文学史上创作成就非常突出的作家之一,他的《风萧萧》曾风靡大后方。《风萧萧》直接从人类休戚与共的战争经验中生发出具有人类整体性特征的深刻哲思,它思考了具有人类普遍价值的关于战争与爱情的形而上意义。其哲理意蕴正在于,徐訏能够站在时代制高点上展示人类心灵的丰富性,对生命与存在作超越性思考,对人生心理世界做宏阔幽微的探寻,对人类的生存困境和人生悖论作永恒的哲思。
