Aristotle once devoted himself to the meaning of tragedy in “Poetics.” He believes that the purpose of the tragedy is to arouse the audience’s compassion for the characters in the play and their fear of the fate of the fickleness, thus purifying the feelings. Conflicts described in the tragedy are often difficult to reconcile, with the color of fatalism. The protagonists in the tragedy often have a strong and unyielding character and a heroic spirit, but they always fail in the process of fighting against their destiny. Tragedy beauty is through the tragedy in such a form, will live unbearable, negative, helpless side of the show to the people, by touching the innermost feelings of compassion to get people from the negative get a tragic beauty of pleasure, one for A kind of virtue cherished by good life. Because the beauty of the tragedy itself makes people feel a sense of beauty with this distance-aesthetically aesthetic distance. Therefore, the beauty of this beauty lies in its higher than normal life.
