The Huikou Town of Jiangkou in Ningshan County, Shaanxi Province is a minority settlement, with 40.8% of Hui people. Before 1984, the average per capita income of the Hui and Han people was 106 yuan, and the town’s fiscal revenue was 8,919 yuan. In the second batch of electrification construction, it was supported by the state and the province. Seven hydropower stations and 1300 kW power stations were installed successively, and more than 100km of transmission lines were installed to provide power to households in the town.
