一个新的剧本开拍,在创作上都是一个新的开始。艺术没有一成不变的轻车熟路。新的思索、新的追求、新的苦恼与新的乐趣自始至终伴随着我的创作历程。我在电视美术领域中耕耘了三十年,拍摄大型历史电视连续剧《红楼梦》时,在场景设计上我着意刻画原著的内在意蕴,不同场景赋予不同的寓意;在《宋庆龄和她的姊妹们》创作中,未出国门一步,创造了美国、日本、前苏联、法国、德国、比利时、香港、澳门……等诸多场景,是在创造一个世界;《秦淮八艳》是一首抒情诗;《巨人的握手》则是一曲悲壮史
