光纤传输具有传输频带宽、传输容量大、传输损耗低、传输信息不受电磁干扰、光缆线径细重量轻、制造原材料来源丰富等优点因而正成为新的广播电视传输介质;近年来国内许多省市如苏、鲁、浙等都在大力兴建广播电视光缆传输网以适应广播电视事业的飞速发展,以光缆传输网为主的广播电视传输覆盖网正和电信网一起成为我国信息产业的重要基础设施。
