In many of his novels, he portrays figures who have lived through more brutal wars and living hard by their fantasy, alcohol, and romantic affair in reality. Three protagonists Jack, Lady Ashley and Cohen were also members of The Sun Also Rising. I intend to explore Hemingway in the figure-building aspects of the contrast factors in order to reveal the trauma brought by the war and their complex spiritual world.
