近几年来,高等师范院校中文系中学语文教学法学科的研究工作,进展很快,专著和教材不断出版,学科理论水平较前有了很大的提高。在这些专著和教材中,张鸿苓等四位同志编著的《语文教学方法论》(北京师范大学出版社1982年初版,1984年增订再版;以下简称《方法论》)独树一帜,抓住了培养语文能力这个核心,建立起了一个令人耳目一新的中学语文教学的理论体系,旨在从中学语文教学的理论和实践的结合上,解决为什么要培养语文能力、培养什么样的语文能力和怎样培养语文能力等一系列重大问题,很值得中学语文教育界重视。研究一下《方法论》的成败得失,对中学语文教学法学科的建设,不是没有意义的。
