磁粉探伤具有检测铁磁性材料表面缺陷灵敏度相对较高,检测速度较快,检验成本低廉等优点,而且能检测出一定表面深度下的缺陷,是无损检测单位及锅炉压力容器制造单位检验部门所拥有的常规五大检测方法之一,但多数情况下主要以检验焊接接头为主,使用的磁粉探伤机主要以便携单磁轭式和交叉磁轭式为主,一般情况下磁轭式探伤机对锻件母材表面以及近表面裂纹和夹层的探伤也是能满足其检验要求的。下面就锻造焊接法兰磁粉探伤工艺以及操作特点和检出缺陷的分析进行简要介绍。
