适于装配的设计（ＤｅｓｉｇｎＦｏｒＡｓｓｅｍｂｌｙ，ＤＦＡ）是现代制造技术的重要内容之一。介绍了适于装配的设计的基本思想，内容和特点；总结了ＤＦＡ的发展过程；最后提出一种面向并行工程的基于知识的ＤＦＡ计算机支撑模型。
Design For Assembly (DFA) is one of the most important aspects of modern manufacturing technology. The basic ideas, contents and features of design for assembly are introduced. The development process of DFA is summarized. Finally, a knowledge-based DFA computer support model for parallel engineering is proposed.
