英汉双语教学自20世纪90年代在我国基础教育领域诞生以来,历经十几年的理论研究与实践探索,取得了长足的进展。然而,在前进与发展的道路上也遭遇了很多困惑、尴尬与困难。其中,专业化双语师资匮乏首当其冲,成为制约基础教育双语教学进一步发展的“瓶颈”。文章在介绍柯林.贝克双语教育模式的基础上,结合自身双语教学实践,对双语师资培养过程中如何提高学生英语综合应用能力与水平以及养成学生英语思维与习惯进行了尝试性分析和探讨,以期对当前基础教育双语教学和双语师资培养有所启示。
