南靖国有林场在４ｈｍ２桉树造林地上进行了灭蚁灵诱杀白蚂蚁试验，有效地灭除了白蚂蚁，造林成活率提高到９８％。继而在７个林场的１４２ｈｍ２林地推广灭蚁灵诱杀法，使造林成活率平均达到９５％。
