大地震对地面的破坏程度往往与断层错动过程有直接关系。2008年5月12日06时27分59.0秒(GMT),在中国汶川发生了M_w7.9地震(31.06°N,103.37°E,h=7.6km)。地震发生后,在震中距5.2°~121.0°的范围内,周至台(Δ=5.2°)数字水位仪和全球数字地震仪台网(GSN)74个台(Δ=5.3°~121.0°)的宽频带(BH)和甚宽频带(VH)数字地震仪都很好地记录到了同震粘滑高频振动激发出的体波震相Xs和同震止滑低频振动激发出的勒夫型面波
The extent of damage to the ground by a large earthquake is often directly related to the process of fault dislocation. On May 12, 2008 at 06:27:59.0 GMT, the M_w7.9 earthquake (31.06 ° N, 103.37 ° E, h = 7.6 km) occurred in Wenchuan, China.
