中国的春节、西方的圣诞,两个中西方最大的节日,虽然文化不同,地域不同,但“吃”均被赋予了最庄严的使命,成为节日期间最为重要的进程之一。“吃”,实在是人生一大要事,一大乐事,一大幸事。如果“吃”被简化到目的为裹腹,动作为咀嚼,大约人生的意义也岌岌可危。所幸并非如此。小而言之,吃与不吃关系到个人生命的存活;大而言之,吃什么、怎么吃又是文化背景下的重大命题。这样的一个大命题,必然会有多角度、多途径的解读与论证。如此多样的解读与论证过程,正如食物没有进入胃之前其色香味的丰富,由不得食客在吃之前赤龙搅海、浮想连翩。
