目的:探讨人工耳蜗电极覆盖耳蜗基膜范围对汉语普通话人工耳蜗使用者的言语识别能力,特别是声调识别能力的影响。方法:使用人工耳蜗调试软件通过开启(关闭)不同电极通道设置7种测试条件,以模拟人工耳蜗电极覆盖耳蜗基膜范围的不同状态。并对各测试条件下人工耳蜗使用者元音、辅音、声调识别能力进行测试。结果:不同测试条件下元音识别平均得分56%~91%(P<0.05);辅音识别平均得分72%~85%(P<0.05);声调识别平均得分68%~81%(P>0.05)。但随着人工耳蜗电极覆盖基底膜范围的扩大,人工耳蜗使用者元音、辅音成绩呈现显著性改善,声调识别成绩亦有所提高。结论:增加人工耳蜗电极覆盖基膜的范围、积极利用耳蜗各个区域有利于改善人工耳蜗使用者的言语识别能力,进而对提高人工耳蜗使用者言语交流和社会交往能力是非常重要的。
Objective: To investigate the effect of cochlear electrode covering cochlear basilar membrane on speech recognition ability of Chinese mandarin cochlear implants, especially tone recognition ability. METHODS: Seven test conditions were set by turning on (turning off) different electrode channels using cochlear debugging software to simulate the different states of cochlear basal membrane coverage by cochlear electrodes. The test of vowel, consonant and tone identification of cochlear implants were performed on each test condition. Results: The average score of vowel recognition was 56% ~ 91% (P <0.05) under different testing conditions; the average score of consonant recognition was 72% -85% (P <0.05); the average of tone recognition was 68% -81% ). However, with the expansion of the basement membrane covered by cochlear electrodes, the vowel and consonant scores of cochlear implants significantly improved and the scores of tone recognition improved. CONCLUSION: Increasing the range of cochlear electrode covering the basement membrane and making full use of the various regions of the cochlea will be helpful to improve speech recognition ability of cochlear implants users, and thus it is very important to improve speech communication and social interaction ability of cochlear implants users.
