公证档案记载了人们经济、民事活动的重要内容,在为经济建设及社会各方面服务工作中具有重要作用。为此,我们对新乡市公证处公证档案的形成与管理情况进行了调查。调查发现:市公证处无专职档案员,无档案库房,仅有的三套档案柜容量不足,大量公证档案成捆堆放在柜上和地下。档案保管条件极差,利用难度很大。为了使公证档案得以妥善保管和开发利用,为了增加馆藏档案的门类和经济成份,也为了解决公证处保管档案的困难,我们在和公证处协商的基础上,打破进馆档案时限的常规,提前对公证档案进行了接收。
