本文选择《围城》一书以及珍妮.凯利和茅国权的译本为例,着重对会话含义中违反质的准则的情况加以探讨。会话含义在小说对话中的地位与意义是不言而喻的。尤其是对译者而言,掌握会话含义就更为重要了。译者需要揣摩小说中的会话者是为何要违反会话含义中的原则来进行会话的,这样才能够更准确地传递原文所隐含的意义。 Taking the book Fortress Besieged and the translations of Jenny Kelly and Mao Guoquan as examples, this article focuses on the discussion of the transgressors’ criterion of violating quality. The meaning and meaning of conversational meanings in dialogues of novels is self-evident. Especially for translators, it is even more important to grasp the meaning of conversation. The translator needs to try to figure out why the conversationalist in the novel is going to engage in conversation in violation of the principles contained in the conversational meaning so as to convey the implied meaning of the original text more accurately.
