2014年9月27日,北京,陆群在东北三环的一间星巴克咖啡馆内,接受了《汽车商业评论》第一次专访。近3个小时的对话,他谈及了对当下中国电动车产业中争议颇多的四个话题的思考,包括轻量化对电动车的意义、汽车续航里程、充电桩建设问题,以及如何看待低速电动车。10月22日,长城华冠汽车科技有限公司会议室,在第二次采访中,陆群又就一些内容进行了补充。陆群的看法与当下一些主流的,或者说绝大多数政策和传统汽车制造商传递出的声音不同,但是新颖、深刻、逻辑清晰,且引人思考。更为重要的是,电动车作为新兴产业,它需要由各种声音和不同的商业模式推动,才能达成革命性变革。以下为陆群的主要观点,由《汽车商业评论》记者杨与肖整理,正是这些想法促使他决心成立一家与众不同的电动车制造公司。
