我厂生产的东方红3型内燃机车的12V180柴油机上,装有4Cr14Ni14W2Mo铬镍奥氏体耐热钢制成的进气阀和排气阀。一台机车上有两台柴油机,共装有48只进气阀和48只排气阀。气阀是柴油机上重要的零件之一,其工作条件十分复杂而苛刻。为此,要求制造气阀的材料应在常温和高温时具有足够的强度、硬度、耐磨性和耐蚀性能。采用单一材料制成的所谓整体阀,不可能同时满足上述各种要求。因此,根据气阀的工作条件,在设计中规定需在气阀的阀顶部和阀面进行表面强化处理。
