蔓性野牡丹为野牡丹科常绿蔓藤花卉,又名粉光花、藤野牡丹、多花蔓性野牡丹、紫叶蔓性野牡丹。蔓性野牡丹花朵顶生,花朵似野牡丹,花径大约4～5cm,花瓣倒卵形,瓣端圆或截形,花瓣5枚,开花贯穿整个生长季节,开花时雄蕊呈黄色,花冠紫粉红色,花萼表面有许多小刺毛,花后即使花瓣脱落,果实表面的许多刺毛仍能保留较长
