1996年秋季的一个星期天上午,在位于福州市五四路的中国投资银行福州分行会议室内,《领导文萃》编辑部与福建省特色研究会《大战略》课题组联袂举办了一次事先并无刻意准备的“大战略”恳谈会。会议围绕着一个充满“悬念”的话题——想想福建的未来和福建人的未来,围绕着一个足以激发我们热情、想像力与紧迫感的主题——福建的现代化取决于福建人的现代化,展开了热烈的研讨交流。参加会议的,除了《领导文萃)编辑部部分成员和《大战略》报告主要作者外,还盛邀福建社会科学院哲学所所长(福建省特色研究会名誉副会长)潘叔明研究员,省财政厅副厅长俞传尧.省体改委副主任陈桦副研究员,中国投资银行福州分行行长林回福.省台湾事务办公室副主任(福建省特色研究会副会长)张广敏，省委组织部企业干部处处长林国■,省法制局副局长游劝荣等同志与会。
