近年新闻界有一个现象相当显著,这就是新闻的“软化”。它的具体表现,一是对软新闻的重视,另一个表现,是对硬新闻的软处理。透过新闻“软化”这一现象,我们看到的其实是读者意识的加强。它要求在一般新闻报道过程中,注入更多的读者因素。即便是那些政策性、思想性比较强的硬新闻,也应当在报道内容、报道体式、甚至编排位置和刊登时机等方面,尽力体现读者意识。今天新闻界所出现的这一变化,从一个方面说,
In recent years, one phenomenon in the press has been quite remarkable. This is the “softening” of news. Its concrete manifestation, one is the emphasis on soft news, and the other is the soft handling of hard news. Through the phenomenon of “softening” of news, what we see is actually the strengthening of reader’s consciousness. It requires that more readership be injected into the general news coverage.
