等离子显示器即气体放电显示器,是一种新型的平板显示器件。自五十年代初期,等离子器件问世以来已给予足夠的重视,特别是1966年D.L.Bitzer的第一篇论文发表以来,国外进行了大量研究工作,并取得了很大的进展。我国自1969年起,也开始了这方面的研究工作,并取得了一定的成绩。等离子显示器通常分为直流显示器和交流显示器两种。这两种显示器按其工作方式,又可分为存贮型和非存贮型;按其结构又可分为开放式单元结构和封闭式单元结构,此外又有数字式和矩阵式之分。矩阵式开放单元结构的等离子板,是以两块透明的玻璃作为底板,每一底板的内侧
A plasma display, namely a gas discharge display, is a new type of flat display device. Since the early 1950s, plasma devices have been given enough attention since the advent of plasma devices.
