快餐业进入中国的时间相对来说比较晚,但一旦进入中国以后,就以飞快的速度适应了城市人的节奏,适应了社会的发展要求,成为中国餐饮行业里的佼佼者。随着全球化的发展,经济、文化、政治各方面都在这个过程中不断得到加强,中西方文化之间的交融,并非是文化的同质化,尽管一直以来,西方的一些国家都有西方文化的中心主义或者是文化霸权的趋势,但是这种美式快餐文化进入中国后,与中国的这种地方性饮食文化的碰撞,使得中国本土化的地方性文化不但没有被同质化,反而是一种在文化交融的过程中不断进行的一种文化建构的过程。
