Objective: To investigate the effect of short-term insemination (IVF-ET) on the outcome of in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer (IVF-ET) patients with normal IVF fertilization. Methods: The clinical data of patients with IVF fertilization> 60% were retrospectively analyzed. According to the insemination protocol, they were divided into short-term insemination group (n = 153) and conventional fertilization group (n = 180). Results: 1 619 and 1 986 eggs were obtained from the IVF short-term insemination group and the routine IVF group, respectively, and 133 and 152 patients received fresh embryo transfer respectively. FSH, b LH, b E2, Gn, FSH level at h CG injection, E2 level at h CG injection, LH level at h CG injection, number of oocytes retrieved, egg maturity, There was no significant difference in the thickness of endometrium on the day of transplantation. The normal fertilization rate (65.55% vs 67.84%), normal cleavage rate (98.02% vs 96.90%), embryo implantation rate (29.41% vs 27.84%) and clinical pregnancy rate (44.36% vs 45.39%), the rate of continuing pregnancy (41.35% vs 42.76%), miscarriage rate (5.45% vs 2.90%) and ectopic pregnancy rate (1.82% vs 2.90%) were not statistically different The prokaryotic fertilization rate (14.56%) was significantly higher than that of the conventional IVF group (6.19%), while that of the short-term insemination group was higher than that of the conventional IVF group (33.51%) (28.99%). Conclusion: IVF short-term insemination has gradually been widely used in China due to the failure of conventional fertilization of IVF. However, its long-term effect needs to be further understood.
