微格教学是从英文mico teaching这一个单词翻译过来的,还可以译为“小规模教学”“微观教学”“小型教学”等。目前用得最多的是“微格教学”。“微”的意思就是微小,“格”是取自我国古代“格物致知”一词,“格物”是指穷究事物原理,对事物进行分析推理,用在这里是分析、控制等意思。因此微格教学不仅指在教学过程中把课堂小型化,方便师范生训练,在训练中获得及时的反馈从而加以分析,而且可以指导师范生改善教学方法,提高教学技能。
