The content of the product was purified by melt crystallization 99.4%. The purified ester was saponified, acidified and recrystallized to obtain the high purity target product with the content of 99.5% and the total yield of 84%. The method uses large-scale production of 2,6-dichlorotoluene, dimethyl carbonate and other raw materials, easy to operate and easy to control, suitable for industrialization.
