城市是区域发展的焦点,城市动态问题成为众多学者注目的热门课题。在以传统方法研究城市规划的学者们取得成绩的同时,物理学家和数学家都开拓出新的领域,把城市规划研究提高到认识论水平、超出工程技术范围,成为实用数学模拟和社会科学的前沿。热力学中的熵理论、信息论、控制论、生物进化与生态学理论等等都被用于城市研究。
City is the focus of regional development, and the issue of urban dynamics has become a hot topic for many scholars. At the same time as the scholars who studied urban planning in the traditional way achieved their achievements, both physicists and mathematicians pioneered new fields, raising urban planning studies to the level of epistemology, beyond the scope of engineering techniques, and becoming practical mathematical simulations and social sciences cutting edge. The theory of entropy in thermodynamics, information theory, cybernetics, biological evolution and ecological theory are all used in urban research.
