这篇文章所介绍的四键拉刀，需要经过近百次的拉削行程及六七小肘的时间才能完成一小零件的拉削工作，效率要低於一般拉刀许多倍；经济效果也很低。也是对於特殊深孔而用其他方法不能加工或因质量问题必须用拉刀拉削时；在目前来说它还是一个比较有效的解决办法。特刊出，供参考。
