从番泻荚(senma pods)制备食品和/或药品是加入大约与原料等量的水做水合处理,分离出果肉,回收滤液、干燥并调湿,操作在40℃以下,最好是30℃进行,以保存番泻的气味,避免早凝。为了分离果肉,番泻枝条要调整到所需的湿度,并稍加粉碎,用离心法或经过滤器分离果肉。番泻有缓泻功能,用作防治各种胃部不适和感染。传统服用法是咀嚼番泻荚,吮吸果肉,吐出种子及不能消化的物质,此法不适于现代生活。本新方法提供一干净现实的办法
Preparation of foods and/or medicines from Senma pods involves the addition of approximately the same amount of water as the raw material for hydration, separating the pulp, recovering the filtrate, drying and conditioning the humidity, and operating at temperatures below 40°C, preferably 30°C.
