Aminopeptidase N (APN) is a zinc-dependent membrane-bound type II metal-transmembrane glycoprotein that is widely found in various tissue cells of humans and mammals. APN is a variety of coronavirus adhesion receptor, involved in the adhesion and invasion of coronavirus, and is closely related to viral infection. This review summarizes the research progress on the structure, function and inhibitors of APN receptors of various coronaviruses (HCoV-229E, FCoV, CCoV, TGEV and PEDV), and highlights their applications as human and porcine coronavirus functional receptors Progress. This article provides a reference for further research and application of coronavirus APN receptor.
