Harvard Business Review,2008
Harvard Business Review, June 2008 Research shows that business strategies can not be effectively implemented because they go straight to the organizational structure, ignoring the most powerful drivers of organizational effectiveness - decision-making power and information flow. When a company’s strategic execution problems arise, the manager’s first intuition is that it should be a strategic reorganization. However, our research shows that good execution starts with clarifying decision-making and ensuring the flow of information. If you can take hold of these, the problems of structure and motivation often become apparent.
