The total DNA of rice was digested with PstI and a single copy random probe was made. Using these probes and molecular probes from different sources provided by the Rice Genome Project, RFLP analysis was performed to obtain breeding-specific probes that are indica-japonica-specific and closely related to certain important agronomic traits. Molecular marker changes and correlation analysis show that molecular marker breeding is a very effective breeding technology
