据近年报导,膜系和非膜系糖蛋白的糖链结构随细胞癌变而发生变异.作者研究了滋养细胞的特性和其产生的糖蛋白——hCG的关系.作者指出了随着滋养细胞癌变,hCG的糖链部分可能发生变异,并在绒癌患者尿中发现不含唾液酸的hCG,推测这可以判断末端糖链不全的hCG的出现是随着癌变而发生的变异.现在,唾液酸不全hCG的检查法需要大量尿,定量测定需高度精制,操作繁杂,临床难以采用.作者利用从花生中提取的植物凝集素Arachis
