萝卜古称菜服。具有消渴制酸,消痰止咳,消滞化瘀等功效。可谓“老病消凝滞,奇功值品题。”萝卜能开脾胃,助消化,增食欲,开窍,通便,降血压,尤其适宜老年人食用。民间常用萝卜炖着肉或炖鲫鱼治疗咳嗽、咯血;萝卜榨汁用以嗽口,可防治口疮;用以饮用,可治高血压;用以洗脚,可防治汗脚;萝卜加醋捣烂外敷。可消肿去毒;萝卜、橄榄同煮水饮,可防治流感、喉痛;萝卜加水煎浓汁饮用,可治疗痢疾等。
