我对韩国当代艺术只是稍有认识,今儿谈点感想,作谨慎敷衍。我第一次看到几件韩国当代艺术作品,是在某年的德国科隆艺术博览会。当时的感受记忆犹新,只觉得有一种莫名的特别,它们虽然分置在不同的展位,却有一种整体的区别性。它们似乎是将清新与凝重相混合,形成了视觉差别和精神差异。因为当时我已远离艺术界很多年,对当代艺术的情况是完全的无知,所以也没有特别在意,只是觉得很喜欢。后来我逐步踏入业内,在逛美术馆、艺博会、双年展中不断看到更多的韩国当代艺术作品时,已能简单识别,识别的依据还是第一次感受, I only know a little about Korean contemporary art. I will talk about my feelings and make a cautious perfunctory gesture. The first time I saw a few pieces of contemporary Korean art, it was a year of Cologne Art Fair in Germany. At that time, my memories were fresh and I just felt there was an inexplicable special. Although they were divided into different booths, there was an overall difference. They seem to be mixed with freshness and dignity, forming a visual difference and a spiritual difference. Since I was far away from the art world for many years, I was completely ignorant of the situation in contemporary art. I did not particularly care about it. I only liked it very much. Later, I stepped into the industry step by step. When I visited art museums, art fairs and biennials to see more works of Korean contemporary art, I could easily identify and recognize the basis for the first time.
