The relationship between landscape, architecture and urbanization has played an important role in the history of Latin America. The Latin American subcontinent, rich in natural resources, diverse climates and complex cultures, was and is the laboratory of the most remarkable international experience that has taken place in this area of modernization. This article will introduce a small but classic collection of related projects - some new urban settlements that represent such alternative solutions. The different countries, bases, sizes and design philosophy were included in the selection of these cases. However, despite these common characteristics, these cases are not responding to the same unique form of problems, unlike some of the branches under the concept of “Garden City.” Therefore, they should be interpreted as an interpretation of the concept of ’Garden City.’ These are: ① summer resorts at the Seaview House Hostel in Whale Cape, Uruguay; ② the El Pedrera Campus in Saint-Angel, Mexico City; ③ the neighborhood at El Pedreggolo, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; ④ the Ritto, Chile Open city.
