In 1995, the economic situation in Central and Eastern European countries continued to improve on the basis of 1994, and the economy of all countries has risen. As a whole, the socio-economic situation is further stabilized. Economic recovery and development are the dominant trends in these countries. However, the economic imbalances and vulnerabilities of all countries are also obvious. The problems of development are even more prominent. Among these countries, the economic situation in the Czech Republic and Poland is relatively speaking the best. The economic situation in the Czech Republic is characterized by strong macroeconomic stability, an increase of 4% in GDP in 1995, an increase of 1.5 percentage points over the previous year, and an inflation rate and unemployment rate in Central and Eastern European countries
