With the development of medicine, the methods of diagnosis and treatment are changing with each passing day, and the number of iatrogenic diseases also gradually increases and has drawn great attention. Such as a medical college in 1961-1976 716 dead patients in autopsy, found that iatrogenic disease accounted for 2.5% of deaths. Some 150 million people in a western country from 1960 to 1970 were treated for medical-related diseases and 30,000 died. Although the causes of such diseases are numerous and sometimes unpredictable, they are often closely related to the carelessness of medical workers, their one-sided thinking, and their lack of adequate understanding of the problems that may occur during the treatment. There have been reports of iatrogenic diseases in the country, including women's, children's, children's, and facial organs, while there are few reports of dental-related diseases in the country. The author made a retrospective summary of the major iatrogenic diseases in our department, explored the causes, learned from experiences and lessons learned, and increased awareness of such diseases with a view to raising the level of prevention and treatment. First, the damage caused by diagnostic errors
