同志们: 今天,中国书法家协会在这里召开第三届第五次常务理事会,我代表中国文联表示热烈的祝贺,对书法家协会同志们和书法界朋友们的辛勤工作表示衷心的感谢。去年,在中国书协常务理事会上占祥同志就书法发展总结了‘三种景象、四个结合’。三种景象:一是书法艺术出现了繁荣发展的好势头,首先表现在十多年的书法热持续升温;其次是,书法艺术品收藏热方兴未艾;三是许多领导同志积极提倡。四个结合:一是专业书法家与业余书法家相结合;二是传统书法艺术与现代审美要求相结合,三是书法艺术的实践与书法理论的研究相结合;四是书法家与企业家相结合。上述三种景象,四个结合,呈现了书法艺术喜人的势头。一年之后,从中国书协的工作中,从你们的工作汇报里,可以看出上述势头又有了新的发展:第一、书法创作热在持续升温的同时,更向深度和高度发展。一年里办了十多次大展,不仅扩大了社会影响,创作水平也得到提高,队伍得到壮大,通过展览开出了绚丽的书艺之花;第二,书法欣赏、收藏热推动了社会的文明和文化繁荣,成为建设社会 Comrades: Today, the Chinese Calligraphers Association convened here the Fifth Standing Council of the Third Council. On behalf of the Federation of Chinese Literary Festivals, I hereby express my warm congratulation and express my heart-felt thanks to all the comrades of the Calligrapher Association and friends in the calligraphy community. Last year, Comrade Xiang Xiang, director of the Standing Committee of the China Association of Calligraphers, summed up the ’three visions and four unions’ in calligraphy development. Three scenes: First, there is a good momentum of prosperity and development of calligraphic art. First of all, it shows that the calligraphic heat continues to heat up for more than a decade; secondly, the calligraphic art collection hot in the ascendant; third, many leading comrades actively advocate. Four combinations: one is a combination of professional calligrapher and amateur calligrapher; two is the combination of traditional calligraphy art and modern aesthetic requirements; third, the combination of calligraphic art practice and calligraphy theory; and fourth, calligrapher and entrepreneur. The above three scenes, four combinations, presents a gratifying momentum of calligraphy. A year later, from the work of the China Shuxie Committee, we can see from the report of your work that there has been a new development in the above momentum: First, while the heat of calligraphy creation continues to heat up, it further develops in depth and height.
