The magnetorheological suspensions are described. The semi-active control strategies of the magnetorheological fluid suspension of the powertrain are emphatically reviewed. The magnetorheological fluid suspension of open-loop control and closed-loop control is analyzed in detail. The related research work and results are given. Finally, the prospect of engineering application of magnetorheological suspension is forecasted.
